TEDxPasadena is a community that seeks to transform the conversation. We reach for this goal by providing a forum for the cross-pollination of ideas and expertise between industries, socioeconomic groups, ages and life experiences.

Our local conference is designed to create a community of bright minds with diverse interests to share discourse inspired by TEDx talks that are idea-focused, and to cover a wide range of subjects. Our community seeks to foster learning, inspiration and wonder — and involvement is sure to spark conversations that matter.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxPasadena, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxPasadena event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
